1. Purpose and scope
1.1. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website casadasmouriscas.pt (hereinafter, the "website"), owned by Sara Silveira da Bernarda, Tax Identification Number 187343977, residing at Rua do Machado, 1, 2200-697 Mouriscas, Abrantes, owner and operator of the local accommodation establishment "Casa das Mouriscas", RNAL 120037/AL (hereinafter, "Casa das Mouriscas").
1.2. By accessing and using the website, the user declares that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use. If the user does not agree with these terms, they must refrain from using the website.
1.3. Casa das Mouriscas reserves the right to change or update, at any time, these Terms of Use, as well as the contents, information and functionalities of the website. Such changes take effect from the moment they are published on the website.
2. Nature of the website and absence of online booking
2.1. The website is essentially informative and aimed at the tourist promotion of the "Casa das Mouriscas" local accommodation, allowing users to get to know the accommodation, its features and general conditions.
2.2. The website provides an availability request form that allows the user to express interest in booking the accommodation for certain dates. Submission of this form does not, in itself, constitute the conclusion of any booking contract nor does it automatically guarantee availability for the requested dates.
2.3. Bookings are always concluded outside the website, by email, WhatsApp or telephone, after the conditions have been expressly confirmed by Casa das Mouriscas and accepted by the guest.
3. Intellectual property
3.1. All content on the website, including, without limitation, texts, photographs, images, logos, trademarks, graphics, videos, design, layout and software, is owned by Casa das Mouriscas or by third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by the applicable legislation on copyright, related rights and industrial property.
3.2. Use of the website by the user does not confer any intellectual property rights over the content made available, and such content may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, published, modified, translated, sold, licensed or otherwise exploited, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of Casa das Mouriscas or the respective owner.
3.3. However, the user may view, print or download the website's content for strictly personal and non-commercial use, provided that all notices relating to copyright and other proprietary rights are not removed.
4. Liability for content and use of the website
4.1. Casa das Mouriscas makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information provided on the website is accurate, up-to-date and complete. However, the website may contain inaccuracies, typographical errors or outdated information and Casa das Mouriscas does not guarantee that the content will always be updated and free from errors.
4.2. Casa das Mouriscas shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

5.3. Access to third-party websites or services is at the user's sole risk, who should read and accept, where applicable, the respective terms and policies.
6. Misuse of the website
6.1. The user undertakes to use the website in accordance with the law, these Terms of Use and generally accepted standards of conduct, refraining from any acts that may infringe the rights of third parties or affect the operation of the website.
6.2. In particular, the user is prohibited from:
- a) Using the website for unlawful, illegal or improper purposes or purposes contrary to public policy;
- b) Introducing, transmitting or disseminating via the website any unlawful, false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive or xenophobic content or content that incites violence or discrimination;
- c) Attempting to access, interfere with, damage or disrupt the functioning of the website or its associated systems or networks, namely by introducing viruses, worms, malware or any other malicious code or program;

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
8.1. These Terms of Use and the use of the website are governed by Portuguese law.
8.2.
